We've all seen it before. The teacher says, "That's it, any more questions?" *Silence* Then there's the kid in the first row, shooting his hand up once again, with the 39th question of the class period. And although nobody wants to admit it, that kid has life figured out.
What I've come to realize is this: refusing to ask for help does nothing but stunt ones own growth and prove their immaturity. Asking for help doesn't make you weak - it makes you human. You won't get anywhere fast if you allow pride to silence you. Using the "I got this!" mentality will leave you in the dust. Pride will prevent you from receiving wisdom from others who have been down the road you're approaching.
Your success depends on how much you're willing to branch out, go beyond your comfort zone. So there it is. Just suck it up, and ASK! You will surely see progress!
