Picture this: you're driving down the road, when all of the sudden you run over a nail and your tire blows out! Your phone is dead. There's no On-Star in your van. No way to call for help. You're stuck.
The only chance of you getting help is for somebody to pull over just for you. What are the chances of that these days? If somebody stops and helps you out, that's great. But what if each car just passes by? You can only hope somebody will come through for you...
Only two types of love exist in this world: man's love, and God's love. The tire blowout scenario is what man's love looks like. You can't depend on a person to be there for you each and every time you need them. No matter what they say, people can only be there for you sometimes.
Somebody might see you on the side of the road and say, "Ah, I've got too much on my plate already, maybe next time I can help out..."
On the other hand, God will look at you and say, "Take my yoke upon you...and you will find rest..."
WHEREVER YOUR "SIDE OF THE ROAD" MAY BE, GOD WILL NEVER LOOK AT YOU AND KEEP DRIVING BY. HE WILL NEVER FAIL YOU...EVER...THAT'S GENUINE LOVE.
THAT'S THE DIFFERENCE. REAL LOVE KNOWS NO EXCUSES....
